Classical Music to Play and Enjoy

Nigel’s first instrument is the piano which he studied at school before going on to Cambridge University to study sciences and chemical engineering. He also enjoys playing brass instruments .

After a varied career which included a period in industry, then composition and tuition, Nigel is now concentrating on composition, and making his wide range of light classical music available for both amateur and professional musicians to sing and play. He also creates music for playing in church.

Nigel lives in Edinburgh with his wife, Dr Wendy Wrieden, also a musician.

 On the Music pages you will find samples of audio to listen to and sheet music to download.

Some of the audio is computer generated, some was specially recorded and others were live performances. The audio is illustrative; there are no complete versions. It may be possible to get complete copies of some of the music. Please use the contact form on this website to get in touch with Nigel.
